Donnelly Centre Home Fellowship

The Donnelly Centre is a global research hub where scientists from diverse fields explore the power of genomic technology to advance discovery, medicine and health. Our researchers seek new ways to explore global gene regulation and signal transduction using systems biology approaches, including functional genomics, proteomics, metabolomics and computational biology, in order to understand the molecular underpinnings of health and disease.

The Home Fellowship will support a senior postdoctoral fellow (graduated from a PhD program more than two years prior to the application deadline) or research associate in the fields of molecular biology, stem cell biology, genetics, systems biology (genomics, proteomics and metabolomics), biomedical engineering or computational biology for one year.

The Home Fellowship invests in bold research ideas that are enabled by interdisciplinary collaboration at the Donnelly Centre.

In order to apply, applicants must be sponsored by a Donnelly Centre faculty member. Applicants should contact faculty directly for sponsorship requests.

Successful applicants will receive $50,000 towards salary support and benefit costs and up to $30,000 for one year to support direct research project costs.

The sponsoring faculty member will submit the application package, including:

  • Completed application form
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Three-page statement of research interests (see application form for details)
  • Three letters of reference (one from sponsoring faculty member)

The deadline for applications is March 28, 2024.
